1. Scope of Agreement
These terms govern all inquiries, quotations, proforma agreements, and procurement services provided by Dots Medical Import PLC to institutional clients, healthcare organizations, and health professionals in Ethiopia.
2. Quotations & Commercial Pricing
All commercial quotations and proforma invoices are issued subject to:
- Specific validity periods stated on the formal proforma invoice
- Foreign exchange rate adjustments and National Bank of Ethiopia directives
- Manufacturer availability and international freight cost changes
- Applicable customs duties, VAT, and withholding taxes unless a duty-free exemption is verified
3. Regulatory Compliance & EFDA Pre-Import
Medical devices, IVD test kits, and laboratory instruments imported by Dots Medical Import PLC require lawful authorization by the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA). Delivery timelines depend on permit issuance and customs verification.
4. Equipment Warranty & After-Sales Support
Clinical instruments include the manufacturer warranties stated in individual sales contracts. Warranty coverage excludes damage from power surges outside specified tolerances, ungrounded outlets, physical abuse, or unauthorized maintenance.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and commercial transactions are governed by the laws of Ethiopia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Addis Ababa.
